Mission Statement
The mission of the Ride to Heal Foundation is to conduct
long distance bicycle rides to raise awareness and
provide funding for a variety of organizations that
provide healing and support services for individuals in
need in our community.
Vision
To be a leader in raising funds and awareness by
conducting a safe, fully supported long distance bicycle
rides in the New York Metropolitan area for worthy
causes.
Values
Issues that are very important to us
include, but are not limited to, HIV/AIDS support and
educational services, Hunger Relief and supporting
Disabled Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Ride
to Heal is a 501 C (3) charitable organization, founded
in 2008 in memory of Jim Monks who died of AIDS in 1991.

Wounded Warrior Ride May 23, 2010 |

We are extremely proud to be a
sponsor of the Wounded Warrior Project and join
with them to honor and empower wounded warriors.
Please join us in helping those in need and
those that have gone in harms way to protect our
freedoms. Register for one of the two
distances and give back to our heroes.

HIV / AIDS Support Services Ride
Sept 10-12,
2010 |

Please join us for
our 3rd Annual Ride and help raise awareness for
this terrible disease. Every 9˝ minutes, someone
is infected with HIV. Over 580,000 people in the
US have died of AIDS since 1981. This 3 day ride
travels through NYC, along the Hudson River and
in the Delaware River Recreational Area.

Hunger Relief / Project H.O.P.E. Ride September 19, 2010 |

Project H.O.P.E is
led by adult volunteers and staffed with young people
from St. Hugh Parish in Huntington
Station. It provides “Sunday
Suppers” to families and individuals. Hunger is
closer to home than you think. Register for one
of two distances and make an
impact by helping your neighbor in need.
