Mission Statement
The mission of the Ride to Heal Foundation is to conduct long distance bicycle rides to raise awareness and provide funding for a variety of organizations that provide healing and support services for individuals in need in our community.

Vision
To be a leader in raising funds and awareness by conducting a safe, fully supported long distance bicycle rides in the New York Metropolitan area for worthy causes.

Values
Issues that are very important to us include, but are not limited to, HIV/AIDS support and educational services, Hunger Relief and supporting Disabled Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.
 

It’s not a race, it’s a ride!

Ride to Heal is a 501 C (3) charitable organization, founded in 2008 in memory of Jim Monks who died of AIDS in 1991.

HIV / AIDS Support Services Ride Sept 10-12, 2010


 

Please join us for our 3rd Annual Ride and help raise awareness for this terrible disease. Every 9˝ minutes, someone is infected with HIV. Over 580,000 people in the US have died of AIDS since 1981. This 3 day ride travels through NYC, along the Hudson River and in the Delaware River Recreational Area.  Learn More...

                    

               
 

Hunger Relief / Project H.O.P.E. Ride September 19, 2010

Project H.O.P.E is led by adult volunteers and staffed with young people from St. Hugh Parish in Huntington Station. It provides “Sunday Suppers” to families and individuals. New Orleans Ride to Benefit Gulf Coast Oil Spill Sept 25-Oct 18, 2010
   

The Ride to Heal Foundation, will send a team of bicycle riders from Central Park in NYC to Audubon Park in New Orleans to raise funds to help the families impacted by the Oil Spill in The Gulf of Mexico. 

The will depart from New York City's Central Park on Saturday September 25th and travel 1500 miles in 20 days and will be going through Philadelphia, Baltimore, Atlanta and finally reach New Orleans on Monday October 18th.

We need your generous help to make this important event a success.  The bicycle riders will be doing some very heavy riding to make it happen.  Won't you please help?
